Introduction

An extremely Ruined Mandir of Bhagwan Shiva, known as Yadneshwar Mahadev Mandir, located at Lonar in Buldhana district of Maharashtra. Most of the part is collapsed, but carvings are still intact in the temple. Shivling and Nandi are presented in the temple. This temple (20.03×9.38×4.58m) along the lake edge, dedicated to Shiva, and faces west. Yajñeshwar Temple is the most ornate among the group temples of Lonar. The temple is built during the 13th century.
