Introduction

From Nattarasanpattu, Orathur Road, Kanchipuram, Sri Thiruvalilshwar temple is located. Very old temple and seems to be over 1000 years old. Thiruvalishwarar is facing East and Ambal Tripurasundari in a separate Sannidhi is facing south. A very old Pillayar vigraham is there with elephant in front of him instead of Mushigam, this is also very unique. A beautiful Murthy of Mahavishnu with Thaayar on his lap is found here which is very unique. Subramania Swamy with his peacock vahanam is another beautiful Murthy found here. A very ancient temple in ruins and needs serious renovation.
