Introduction

              Vadapathy Shiva Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Located in the Vadapathy village, Thiruvarur circle, Thiruvarur district, Tamil Nadu. North of Thiruvarur, This is a small Shiva temple in this town facing east side, in which the lord is in the east facing position and the deity is in the south facing position. There are also Ganesha and Murugan sanctum at the gate of the temple. The restoration work has been started and half of the work has been completed and it has been standing still for many years. The temple is said to be more than 1000 years old.
