Introduction

Shiva Temple and Krishna Temple are located on the same premises in Nergunam village. The originator of the Shiva temple is Sri Viswanathar. Suyambu Murthy. Ambal Sri Visalakshi. Both the Swami Ambal shrines face east. Other shrines are Ganapati, Valli Devasena Sametha Murugan, Byravar, Suryan, Chandiren, Four and Navagraha. Pujas are held here daily. The temple was in ruins, recently the temple has been renovated and is in good condition due to the efforts of Kanchi Sri Jayendra Swamy. The pond is found opposite the temple.
