Introduction
Location:
- Mudukuthore (officially known as Thirumalakudu Bettahalli) is situated near Mysore, Karnataka, on the banks of the River Kaveri.
- The temple is one of the five Panchalinga temples in the region, with the other temples located in Talakadu.
- Mudukuthore is named after the river’s diversion; “Muduku” means diversion, and “Thore” means flow forward.
