Introduction
Venugopala Swamy Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu located in Kovaipudhur Town near Coimbatore City in Coimbatore South Taluk in Coimbatore District of Tamil Nadu, India. The temple is run by a private trust Thiruvenkatavan Charitable Society. All rituals of the temple are based and performed on Pancharathra Agama.
The temple is located at about 1 Km from Kovaipudhur Bus Stand, 9 Kms from Coimbatore Junction Railway Station, and 21 Kms from Coimbatore Airport. The Temple is situated at about 4 Kms from Kovaipudhur Junction on Coimbatore to Madukarai. The Temple is located in Shankar Nagar (Behind Siruvani Nagar).
Special Features
The Temple is believed to be 1200 years old. This Temple is facing towards east with five tiered Rajagopuram. Dhwaja Sthambam, Balipeedam and Garudazhwar can be found immediately after the Rajagopuram facing towards the sanctum. The sanctum sanctorum consists of sanctum, ardha mandapam and maha mandapam. The sanctum enshrines the presiding deity, Venugopalaswamy along with his Rukmani and Sathyabama. There is another important shrine enshrining Venkatesa Perumal with his consorts Sridevi and Bhoodevi. There is a shrine for Chakrathazhwar in the temple premises. He is depicted with 16 hands and the other side of the idol is Yoga Narasimha. There are shrines of Andal, Hanuman,Vishwakasena,Acharyas and Azhwars in the temple premises. There is a Madapalli (temple kitchen) for preparing the prasadam offerings in the temple premises. It has a small shrine for Madapalli Nachiyar, a form of Mahalakshmi.

Devotees pray to Lord Vishnu for prosperity, relief from problems and excellence in personal & professional lives. Unmarried pray to Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy for marriage boon.
Festivals
6 days Brahmotsavam, Pavithrotsavam, Sri Jayanthi (Janmashtami),Venkatesa Jayanthi, Purattasi Saturdays, Margazhi Mahotsavam with Vaikunta Ekadasi, Hanumath Jayanthi and Sudarsana Jayanthi are the festivals celebrated here.
