othamangalam Bhairava Temple is located in the Kothamangalam village, Nagai circle, Nagapattinam district, Tamil Nadu. Kothamangalam is a small town, a small stream separates from the Arasalar running in the north of this town, and on its bank is this Bhairava Temple is located, out of 108 temples built by King Thirumalaraya, there were some temples in the Kottamangalam area, and the people have built a separate temple for one Bhairava. There is a big royal tree on the bank of the river, under which there is a Bhairav temple about two hundred meters to the west, in front of which there is a mandapam. Bhairava is the favourite deity of the people of this region. Here the primary deity is Bhairava. There is no other deity is found here. The Temple is believed to be 1000 years old.
