Introduction

This Temple is located near Vishwanath Temple devoted to the Goddess Parvati Devi, consort of Shiva. The Parvati temple is a small and one of the oldest. The temple is located in the western group of temples complex Khajuraho inside the temple complex. The side and back wall do not have any sculptures. A short distance from Chitragupta and south west of the Vishvanath Temple is a small shrine known as the Parvati Temple. Heavily restored and further work currently in progress in early 2018, but the porch has been completely lost and only the plinth survives of the sanctum remains. The Western Group compound, which architecturally is very different from anything else here.
