Introduction

Location: Situated at Karungalpalayam, Erode, Tamil Nadu, about 100 feet from the Gandhi statue bus stop.Deity: The presiding deity is Lord Kodandaramaswami (a form of Lord Vishnu), with Mother Sitapiratti as the consort.History: The temple is over 1000 years old and has a rich cultural and religious heritage.Puranic Significance:

• A community hall was constructed in 1974 by the Erode Ranga Bhavanam Trust for marriages and religious gatherings.
• Consecration of the temple and shrines was performed by Kanchi’s Sri Jayendra Saraswathi.
• Shrines for Chakarathalwar, Lord Narasimha, and Sri Anjaneya are present.
• Regular prayers (Koottu Vazhipadu) are conducted for different deities on specific star days.
