Introduction
- Location: Situated off Karak Road Highway, Malaysia, about 10 kilometers from the main road, deep within a forest. The temple is accessible via the old Bentong Road.
- Significance: This unique temple features a Shiva Lingam from which water continually flows. It is a rare temple located next to a river and is known for its secluded, spiritual environment.
Puranic Significance:
- Founder: The temple is believed to have been founded by a local Siddhar, a revered spiritual figure dedicated to Lord Shiva. A small idol dedicated to this Siddhar can be found within the temple.
- History: Originally, a small hut housed the temple priest as of 2009. The main Shiva Lingam statue was recently replaced with a larger one, and construction is ongoing. The idols in the temple are believed to be over 1,000 years old.
- Deities: Besides the Shiva Lingam, the temple also features an idol of Lord Hanuman and small temples dedicated to Sapthakannis and Datos located uphill.
