Introduction
Chitavari Devi Temple is dedicated to the Goddess Shakthi located in Dhobani Village in Baloda Bazar – Bhatapara District in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.

Special Features
The temple is elevated on a raised platform and has an interesting history. Originally dedicated to Lord Shiva, it was subsequently repurposed to house an idol of Chitavari Devi in its sanctum. The temple is constructed using a combination of stones and bricks, and it is noteworthy for being one of the few surviving brick structures in Chattisgarh. This temple is conveniently located, approximately 10 kilometers from Nandghat, 27 kilometers from Bhatapara Junction Railway Station, and 69 kilometers from Raipur Airport. It can be found along the Bilaspur to Raipur route, making it easily accessible for visitors.
