The temple faces east and consists of a sanctum and an ardha mandapa. In front of the ardha mandapa, there is a Nandi sculpture, which is the sacred bull and vehicle of Lord Shiva. It faces towards the sanctum.

The entrance to the ardha mandapa is adorned with a stucco image of Lord Shiva at the top. The pilasters on either side of the entrance are decorated with sculptures of Salabhanjikas, which are often depicted as graceful female figures in various poses.
