Introduction
Tanjore District, Thiruvidaimarudur Circle Naduveli Sivankoil Naduveli sivan temple Kadiramangalam is a town with more than 20 temples and the hometown of Sadayappa Valal, the patron of the company. Its old name was Kadirventhamangalam. The name of the town is Naduveli, which is situated on the south side of the town between Vikraman River and Cauvery River. Now it is called Maruvi Naruveli. To the west of this town is a place called Bhaskararajapuram where the Cauvery divides into two parts and spreads as Vikramasolan-Cauvery. This is the special place where the Cauvery, which goes east, travels half a km northwards and returns as a healer, so there is no doubt that the idols from here on out are unique. But without knowing the glory of this town, there is an unmaintained ancient Shiva temple in the middle of the town. The east-facing temple spreads over half an acre. It is beautifully framed in brick with a decorative arch and a wall on all four sides. The Lord has the sanctuary facing east, with the corridor in front of it, as well as the beautifully built front hall with three arches in front of it. The goddess has a south-facing sanctuary. Ganesha has a separate monastery in Prakaram. Renovations of the temple have begun and are currently standing. All the idols in the temple are housed in a tin shed outside. There is a simple way to reach Shiva, flower and water are the devices. They are readily available everywhere. How can they be devices? Even if the Lord pours water on the flower and pours it on the flower, Lord Shiva blesses those who make it as soon as he sees it. He does not even do this. “With the kind permission of Sri Kadambur K. Vijayan, these are extracted from his posts”.
