Introduction
This shiva temple is located at sakor (sakour) village near hatta in damoh district stands on a large platform and comprises of a square sanctum preceded by an oblong closed mandapa. Its podium replicates the mouldings of the Gupta temple at Bhumra while its doorframe too is largely similar with three sakhas but replaces the sakha by a twisted garland in the place of srivriksha motif. The central figure on the lintel here is a ten-armed Natesa showing advanced iconography. This temple has lost the top courses of the jangha with its roof and a portion of the mandapa. Its affinity to the Bhumra temple the temple is built in fifth Century AD. It is situated 15km away from sub-district headquarter Hatta.
