Introduction
Prasat Chrap is located in Srayong Cheung village, Srayong commune, Kulen district. Prasat Chrap is a remote archaeological site in northern Cambodia about 120 kilometres away from Siem Reap. Prasat Chrap has two concentric enclosures. In the centre, three tall laterite towers stand in a row, all of them lost their front walls. There are only remnants of two more brick Prasats facing the principal group. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, built in the year 937 AD. A temple comprising 3 towers built of laterite. Today all towers are badly damaged; the interiors with fire damage and the west facades destroyed suggesting damage was deliberate or due to a common design flaw.
