Introduction

Tirthagriswarar Temple is a small temple located on the banks of the Vashishta River in the village of Belur, Kurichi next to Vazhappadi. To reach the temple, one has to cross the Vashishta river. The only thing left is the small front hall with the sanctum sanctorum to go to the ruins of this small temple. All the Sanctuary are empty without sculpture. Waterlogging is spreading around the neem tree, which thrives in the north. There is a small pavilion and a floor in front of the temple. Inside the sanctum, Tirthagriswarar is beautifully displayed. Nandi in front, Shivratri is celebrated here.
