Introduction

Koh Ker Temples Complex was once an ancient capital of Cambodia, located in Srayong Cheung village, Srayong commune, Kulen district, about 49 kilometers west of the provincial town. Koh Ker temples complex is a remote archaeological site in northern Cambodia about 120 kilometers (75 mi) away from Siem Reap and the ancient site of Angkor. To the left is another Shiva lingam-(LINGAM- 2) symbol is still standing unshakeable at its place on the damaged yoni. It enshrines a linga that is 3m high and almost 1 m wide. Its pedestal is decorated with Garudas and Nagas. This shiva lingam is very similar to the Lingam-1. It was built by King Jayavarman IV in the 10th century for the worship of Brahmanism.
