1 km west of Tirucherai. . The Lord is seated facing east in a tin temple on a small street. There is Nandi in front. The name of the Lord here is EesanaLingeswarar. Of the 21 Bandi deities, Pechiyamman is the most important forest deity. Since Shiva is buried in the Shakti aspect, Pechiyamman bestows blessings on the people as the foremost guardian of all the 21 Bandhi deities. Shiva is armed with a trident, a rattan, a skull, a knife, a sword, a sledgehammer, and a whip. The village of Bandi is said to be the place where Goddess Parvati is worshiped.
