Introduction

Deulbhira (also called Deulbhirya) is a village in the Taldangra CD block in the Khatra subdivision of the Bankura district in the state of West Bengal, India. Jain Mandir is located in the Deulbhira village. Here the primary deity is The Parasnath or Parshwanath. According to the Archaeological Survey of India information board at the temple, it was built around the 13th century. The statue of Parshvanatha, originally in the temple, is now in the Indian Museum at Kolkata. There is no idol in the temple. The temple has been classified as a Monument of National Importance by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
