Introduction

The temple is located on the Nagapattinam-Thiruthuraipoondi bus route. No trace of this ruined Temple. Nobody seems to know the existence of this temple. There is a report that the temple is in ruined state and a private party is in Charge. However despite best efforts no trace of this temple. Sundarar Sang a pathigam on this temple. In the Nagapattinam – Thiruthuraipoondi road, cross the Kizhayur and inquire about the Melai Eesanur stop (along the bridge there) and if you go a little further on the road that turns right, you will come to the Melai Eesanur town.
