Introduction

Cheyyur- Madurantakam road near Bhavnagar 3 km. The temple located in the distance. The main shrine of the temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. “Ponvannan Pillaiyar” of the Golden Ganesha. On either side of the shrine are statues of Ganesha like Dwara Balars. The shrine of Sri Ganesha is located facing south. Other shrines are Sri Veda Griswarar, Sri Gnanambika and Valli Devasena Sameda Subramanian in the Prakaram. All the shrines are located towards the south. People here say that this Ganesha is a boon.
