Introduction

Thittani means white flower. Muttam means the area of the upland plain and can be understood as the plain where the white flowers bloom. The town is located on the south bank of the Pandavai River. From Koradacheri, on the Kankottavanitam road, a distance of 6 km, there is a bridge to cross the Pandavai river from there. The present temple has been transformed into a new small street corner temple after the demolition of the old temple in the town. The name Dineshwarar is derived from the fact that the Lord is worshiped by the sun. The name of the Goddess is Meenakshi. The Lord is in a slightly larger lingam, and the Lord is in a smaller shrine facing south. There are also Sundayswarar Navagrahas in Prakaram. Adjacent to the temple is an ancient elm tree. To the north is a large pond. It is rare to find a lord named Dineshwarar. At some point in life all the nails we have nailed will appear to be unnecessary nails and then the Lord can only be seen by the mind. Let’s go to the village temple while we are at peace. “With the kind permission of Sri Kadambur K. Vijayan, these are extracted from his posts”.
