Introduction

Agastheeswaran Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located at Chitalapakkam near to Tambaram in Chennai, capital city of Tamilnadu. This is a small temple probably a ruined temple. There is an old Agasthya Idol in the temple premises. A big Peepal tree with branches quite long extending to all sides and a damaged sculpture of Devi points to existence of a big old temple.
