Introduction

The town is also known as Komal as the Lord appeared as a clown torch. There are three Shiva temples in the town. Kirubakoobeswarar, Amirtheswarar The third most Alagiya Nathar temple is located on the road to Gangadharpuram in the southern part of Komal. The Lord is in a small tin shed near under a large banyan tree on the side of the road. The Lord is understood to have the bottom and the linga panam without the upper part of the audaya. Is without maintenance. The people of this town call it Thambiran Temple .. Thambiran is the youngest abbot.
