Introduction

Chidambaram Kuberalingeswarar Temple is dedicated to lord Shiva, Located in the Chidambaram city, Cuddalore district, Tamilnadu. There are lingamurthys in the thirty-two dikshas of the Thillai temple. The one in the north is blessed with the name Kuberalingam. Kuberalingeswarar Temple is a small Shiva temple facing east on a paddy mill opposite the Thiruppani Ganesha Temple on North Road. Here the presiding deity is called as Sri Kuberalingeswarar. The Lord is the great lingamurti with two Ganeshas behind him. The Temple is believed to be 1000 years old. If one worships this Kuberalinga idol, wealth will increase.
