This act is believed to be the reason behind the temple’s name, “Koppu Konda Perumal Temple.” Another interpretation is that the hill itself resembles the shape of a Koppu.

Well on the Hill: One of the notable features of the temple is the presence of a well at a considerable height on the mountain. This well is known for always having water, which is considered a miraculous occurrence.

Cave Structures: The temple complex also includes three caves. One of these caves is situated on the west side of the temple. The other two caves are currently under excavation, suggesting that they may reveal further historical or religious significance.
