Puranic Significance
When the Lord’s marriage took place in Kailash, the earth became unbalanced. In order to bring the earth to balance, Agathiyar accepted the Lord’s order, and the Lord agreed that he should see the Lord’s Rishabaru in all the places where he worships. Sage Agathiya, who left for the south, wanted to see the marriage ceremony of Shiva Shakti in all the places. As a result, innumerable modifications appeared. The Lord made Agathiyar perform his marriage ceremony in the places he wanted, and wanted to worship in many places in order to bless us all, and used Agathiyar himself indirectly. One of the many changes that have been made.
