Puranic Significance
The Temple is believed to be 1000 years old. Inside the sanctum, the range of bat remains as an ancient temple. Strips of light seeping out between the cracks of the sanctum, the smell of burnt-out flames of the lamps, the smell of the floral composition of the fruit cloths dried on the vine, and even though the high sun is peeling the skin of the back, Rishabha Devar is standing in front of the Lord with a smile. Lord- The name of Lord Kailasanathar may be Kamakshi. With its beautiful square shape, it has a wonderful majesty even after a thousand years. Ambik is also a beauty that matches him. He has Akshara garland and lotus in his hand. Sculptures speak in black stone, walls speak in brick. Sandesar is sitting with a faint smile even though he is deep in meditation with his eyes closed. The majestic large Ganesha at the gate of the sanctum sanctorum may have been in the southern shrine. This Vishnu, standing with conch wheels in his hand, is the same as the sculpture in the Tirumalika passage on the west.
