Mahajanakudi Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Located in the Mahajanakudi village, Thiruvidaimarudur circle, Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu.Mahajanakudi village is located on the south-east corner of Thiruvidaimarudur temple. Mahajanakudi is a village with two streets. This Shiva temple is located at the intersection of two roads on the western side. Under the big royal tree, Shiva looks beautiful in a square-shaped audaiyar in a shed. There is also a Nandi opposite to lord Shiva. Before this temple was on the bank of the lake in the west of this place. A headless Shiva appears to be seated on this royal tree to guard the temple of the Lord. The temple is said to be more than 1000 years old.
