Ilamangalam Shiva Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Ilamangalam village, Koothanallur circle, Thiruvarur district, Thiruvarur. Ilamangalam is a small town with only two or three streets. There was an ancient Shiva temple in the east of the town. Over time, the temple crumbled and even those ruins disappeared. The one Lingamurthy and one Ganesha only left in the place. The statues are under a neem tree has a copper shed for the Lord. Nearby, the preliminary works of the temple are standing with the ground level., The Temple is believed to be 1000 years old.
