Introduction
Chinna Vadavadi Arunachaleswarar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Chinna vadavadi village, Virudhachalam circle, Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu. Periyavadavadi is located at a distance of 5 km on the Ulundurpettai road to the north of Virudhachalam. This Shiva Temple is located in the middle of a large field directly behind the primary school. The village is located on the western bank of the Vadavadi Lake. Villagers built a beautiful large shed for Lord Shiva. Here the Presiding deity is called as Arunachaleswarar. The Lord is facing east as the beautiful Lingam, opposite is Nandi, the altar and Ganesha are in the southwest, Subramanya in the northwest corner and Navagraha in the northeast. The entire sanctum is decorated with colored stripes. The temple is said to be more than 1000 years old.
