- Cultural Importance: Sri Champakapuri Srinivasa is regarded as the Haath Perumal (a deity of great importance) for many Hebbar Srivaishnavas.
Festivals
- Brahmotsavam: Every year, a 10-day Brahmotsavam festival is celebrated according to the Srivaishnava tradition in May.
- Grand Car Festival: On Vaishaka Shukla Trayodashi Chitra Nakshatra day, the Brahma Rathotsavam (Grand Car Festival) and Jatra (fair) are held. This event attracts many Hebbar Iyengars from Bengaluru, Tumakuru, Mysuru, and surrounding districts.
