Introduction
- Location: The Sri Yantra Temple is situated in Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh, India, nestled among the Maikal, Satpuda, and Vindhyachal mountain ranges, 3500 ft. above sea level. It is surrounded by forests, with the sacred Batte Krishna Kund pond to the west and a water reservoir to the north.
- Features: The temple entrance features a massive sculpture with four heads representing Goddess Laxmi, Saraswati, Kali, and Bhuvaneshwari. The sculpture is accompanied by finely carved figures of 64 yoginis and deities Ganesh and Kartik.
Puranic Significance:
- Architectural Design: The temple is constructed on an elevated square platform measuring 90,000 sq. ft. It is designed as a three-dimensional representation of the Sri Yantra (Sri Chakra), a significant symbol in Hinduism that embodies the divine power of Goddess Tripura Sundari, also known as the Empress Beauty of the Three Worlds. This design adheres to the architectural principles established by sage Agasthya.
- Construction: The project has been ongoing for over 28 years and is led by Acharya Mandaleshwar of the Attal Akhada Sri Swami Shukdevanadji. The temple is nearing completion.

- Entrance Sculpture: The temple’s entrance is adorned with a prominent sculpture featuring four heads representing Goddesses Laxmi, Saraswati, Kali, and Bhuvaneshwari. Below them are intricately carved figures of 64 yoginis, as well as images of Lord Ganesha and Kartik.
