Introduction
The Village of Yellareddypet lies on the way to Siddipet, 78 km. from Hyderabad, via Gajwel. The dilapidated temple locally known as Trilingeswaralyam (Trikuta) is located on the eastern side of the village. The temple faces south and has a common mandapa consisting of 16 pillars and three shrines on the east, north and western sides. All three shrines consist of Lingas in garbhagriha. The door Jambs of garbhagriha are carved with dwarapalakas flanked by female chowki bearers at the bottom. The lintel is carved with Gajalakshmi in the center. Over the lintel, miniature temple models are noticed on the western side shrine, while the remaining is of plain type. There is a tank locally known as Bollakka Cheruvu, existing on the southern side of the temple. The temple belongs to the Kakatiya times of the 12th – 13th Century A.D.
