Introduction

Vayalur is a beautiful village located in the Thondai region, near the lake that collects the small amount of rainwater during the rainy season. Built during the Pallava period in the heart of the town, the beautiful Tirupuliswarar and Vaikunda Perumal temples are located in a beautiful setting that bears the traces of old history and is still attractive today. Go through the path laid out in the shade of the big banyan tree and go inside through the front door set towards the east and you can see these two cobblestones together. The names of the Pallava emperors, believed to be the Brahma Chattris, from Brahma to Parameswaravarman I are also in disrepair. The temple is under the control of the Department of Archeology.
