Introduction
Thirukkadaiyur Ramanandiswarar Shiva Temple is dedicated to lord shiva, located in the Thirukkadaiyur village, Tharangambadi Circle, Nagapattinam District, Tamil Nadu state, India. This west facing Shiva temple is located near the bus stand on the main highway of Thirukkadaiyur. Most of the time the temple is locked. The presiding deity is called as Ramanandiswarar in the form of lingam. The name Rama Nandi Eswarar is derived from the lingam worshiped by Rama. The name of the goddess is unknown. The nandi is placed outside the sanctum sanctorum. And other deities are Ganesh and Murugan. The upper canopy of the temple is in the shape of a cone and is now cracked.
