Introduction

This Cave Temple is an unfinished cave temple located on a small cliff in Ramachandrapuram, Tirunelveli District. AD Belonged to the 8th- 9th century. There is an embossed sculpture of the goddess Jyestha on the tomb. Jyestha is seen in this sculpture in a sitting posture with her companions. The statue of Pillaiyar carved nearby is not complete. The tomb is the work of a landowner from the area. This cave may have been the time of the early Pandyas.
