Introduction
Bhadurgad/ Dharmaveergad fort ruins is situated 100km east of Pune. The temple is located in the Pedgaon village, Maharsahtra. The only structure now remains of the temple. There is a pillar placed in the centre arch. The temple is dedicated to lord Shiva as Rameshwar in Lingam. The temple built in 12-13th century AD now survives in the form of an open hall and shrine without shikhara. Amongst the several temples inside the fort, there are the Bhawani mata temple (fortified by a stone wall), the Hanuman temple (with a large Hanuman image in saffron), the Ganesha temple and some very old Yadavkaalin temples (built in the Hemadpanthi style) including the Rameshwar temple, the Mallikarjun temple, the Laxmi Narayan temple and the Baleshwar temple. There are some statues of Lord Ganesh and Jain Thirthankars idol are kept in this Shiva temple..
