Introduction
The Trichy Malaikottai is located close to the Pallava Cave Temple and the Pandiyar Cave Temple. The Pallava Cave is located on the way to the Uchchipillaiyar Temple in the hill fort. It is believed to have been carved by Mahendravarman. In the middle of the hill, a short distance south of the elephant building is the Pandiyar Cave. It is larger than the Pallava Cave. Up to the foothills of the hill fort – the only thali set up for the individual deities of Tamil Nadu. (vegetarianism, kanapatiyam, kalamaram, celaram, saktam, vainavam) Up to the foothills of the Trichy hill fort, the only tali set for the individual deities of Tamil Nadu who have idols. This is a cave temple with a double sanctum sanctorum. One belongs to Shiva and the other to Tirumala. There is currently no deity in the sanctum sanctorum of Lord Shiva. In the cave temples, the child can be seen standing here with four arms. The deity of Lord Murugan can then be seen with two vidyadars above and two servants below. The deity of the corpse is then seen with the two Vidyadharas above and the sculptures of the warriors giving Arikandam and Navakandam below. In another sanctum there is a statue of Thirumal.
