Introduction

Kasaba Sri Kashivishweshwar Temple is located in the Sangameshwar taluk in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. This temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. The people of Sangamweshwar, called as this temple as a Ruined Kashivishweshwar Temple. The temple is completely in ruinsThere are more than 300 temple are in same condition. There is no lingam, only a broken nandi is placed outside the temple. There is little well near by the temple. It is 1000 years old Shiva temple. The history of Sangameshwar Region is quite old. There is another small temple nearby which is also ruined condition. The history this temple is unknown. The temple is located in greenery of nature and studded in the lap of the Sahyadri Mountains.
