Introduction

Guruvadi town in Nagapattinam circle, Nagapattinam district, Tamilnadu. Here the primary deity is called as Guruvadi Shiva. No other deity in the temple. Guruvayur is a small Village, located in the distance and there is a Shiva temple on the bank of the river. There is another Amman temple nearby. The lingam is associated with the highest banam. The villagers have made a small Nandi in front of the lord shiva. Here the lord Shiva is in a small tin shed.
