Introduction

Elangadu is a beautiful small town located at a distance of 8 KM from Vandavasi in Thiruvannamalai district. The town has a Perumal temple and a nearby Shiva temple. The temple is in complete disrepair and now has a single sanctum with a tin roof. Nandithevar is outside the temple in open air. Flagpole ,the well is near by the temple. Trees grow around the temple and look like a forest. The ancient temple is in ruins.
