Introduction
Virupaksha shiva temple is Located in Ratlam of Madhya Pradesh, the world’s most unique Shiva temple is established here. Which is known as Bhool Bhulaiya Wale Shiva Temple it is also known as Virupaksha Mahadev Temple. The Shiva temple is more than 1000 yrs old, and rebuilt in 11th CE by Chaulakyas. The temple has 64 finely ornamented Pillars ,but built in such a way, Also, few of the pillars has inscriptions from the Maurya as well as the Parmara dynasties. The walls are adorned with beautiful carved sculptures some of which have been damaged.

Beliefs
It is believed that no devotee leaves empty handed at the rate of Baba Bhole Nath. The most important thing here is that with the prasad of Kheer, which is distributed after the Havan organized in this temple, the empty lap of the mothers is also filled, for which a large number of women from far and wide come to see Virupaksha Mahadev.
Special Features
The temple has 64 pillars, sanctum sanctorum, sabha mandapa and four auxiliary shrines around it. Apsaras are accompanied by musical instruments dancing in the assembly hall. Auxiliary temples also exist around the main temple. In the north of the former subsidiary temple, the meditative statue of Hanumanji is situated, in the east south the Jaldhari and Shiva Pind, in the north of the west Vishnu is seated on Lord Garuda. In the west is the statue of Ganesha with the right trunk. Lakhs of people come to the temple on Shivaratri to have darshan of Mahadev.
