Introduction
From Areakode, Malappuram, circle Kerala district. This dilapidated Shiva temple is located (Athadi Siva temple). This Siva temple was destroyed and all Hindus of the locality forcefully converted to Islam during the Tipu invasion. Temple is now in a very sorry state. This temple dates back to the 10Th century, the Tipu sultan dynasty. The primary deity is Lord Shiva in Lingam form, and Nandi in front, No other deity here. The villager performs poojas on some special date. However, a nearby Hindu family is lighting the lamp. They destroyed many parts of the temple and attempted to break Shivling to pieces.
