Introduction

                Boomeeswarar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva located at Gudimallur Village near Walajapet in Vellore District of Tamilnadu. Presiding Deity is called as Boomeeswarar / Bhuminathaeshwarar. Mother is called as Soundaravalli. The Temple is believed to be more than 600 years old. Shrines of Navagrahas, Nalwar, Ganesha, Dakshinamurthy, Vishnu, Brahma, Durga, Chandikeswara, Vinayaka, Naganathar and Muruga with consorts can be found in the inner prakaram. This Temple is famous for Vasthu related Pariharam / Poojas. Vasthu homams by devotees take place almost on every day. The Temple is located at about 9 Kms from Arcot, 8 Kms from Ranipet Railway station, and 112 Kms from Chennai.
