Introduction

1. Located in Yadagirigutta, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, Telangana.
2. Dedicated to Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
3. Known as:

• Pancha Narasimha Kshetram.
• Rishi Aradhana Kshetram.

1. Reconstructed and expanded between 2016 and 2022.
2. Inaugurated on March 28, 2022, by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

Puranic Significance

1. As per Skanda Purana, Yada Maharishi performed penance here to Lord Narasimha.
2. Lord Narasimha manifested in five forms:

• Jwaalaa Narasimha
• Gandabheranda Narasimha
• Yogananda Narasimha
• Ugra Narasimha
• Lakshmi Narasimha

1. All five forms are enshrined in the main cave temple.
2. The temple follows the Tenkalai tradition of Vaishnava Agama Shastras.
3. Believed to be 1000 years old.

Temple Features

Sanctum Sanctorum:

• Located in a cave, under a slanting rock.
• Contains unique idols of Narasimha in his five forms.

Hanuman Temple:

• Located to the right of the main entrance.

Architectural Highlights:

• Follows Agama Shastra principles.
• Expanded from 2 acres to 14 acres.
• Entirely built in stone using ancient Shilpa and Agama designs.

Sculptural Features

1. Three types of stones used:

• Krishna Sila (Purusha Sila): For presiding deities.

2. Black Granite:

• Becomes stronger with natural elements like milk, oil, and curd.
