- Kaduveli Siddhar passed on his knowledge to the people, establishing this temple in honor of Lord Shiva and his divine experience.
- Chola King is credited with building the temple about 2000 years ago, naming it after Kaduveli Siddhar.
- This temple is dedicated to Akash (Space), one of the five elements, which is reflected in the temple’s name Akashapureeswarar.
- Nandi’s Role in the Temple:
