The Savitri Mata Mandir, also known as the Savitri Temple, is a prominent temple dedicated to Goddess Savitri. It is situated on the Ratnagiri Hill in Pushkar, Ajmer, Rajasthan, India. The temple is situated at an elevation of approximately 750 feet above sea level, making it a hilltop temple. This temple is considered one of the most significant temples in India and is dedicated to Goddess Savitri. It is a place of worship and pilgrimage for devotees of the goddess. The temple houses three idols. Goddess Savitri is the central deity, and she is flanked by Goddess Sharda on the right side and Goddess Saraswati on the left side. It is noteworthy that all three goddesses represent aspects of knowledge, wisdom, and learning. The Savitri Mata Mandir is believed to be around 1000 years old, which adds to its historical and cultural significance.

Accessibility: To reach the Savitri Mata Mandir, pilgrims have two options. They can either climb the 970 steps leading to the temple, which is a physical and spiritual journey for many devotees, or they can use the ropeway (cable car) for a more convenient ascent to the hilltop temple. The choice of how to reach the temple is up to the visitors’ preferences and physical abilities.
