Puranic Significance

• Historical Context: The temple structure dates back to the 18th century.
• Architectural Features:
  • The Jinalaya (temple complex) features an east-facing entry and an altar.
  • It includes a Manasthampam (pillar) of 30 feet height, constructed with cement mortar, adorned with Tirthankars engraved on all four sides.
  • The temple complex is enclosed by a compound wall.
• Shrine Layout:
  • Shri Padmavathy shrine is located on the northwestern side of the corridor.
  • Navagraha idols are placed on a platform on the northeastern side of the corridor.
  • Inside the sanctum, the granite idol of Shri Adhinathar is installed on a vedi-platform, showcasing eight features of Samavasaran Jinar.
  • The Antharalayam (inner sanctum) contains metal idols of Tirthankars, 24 Tirthankar clusters, Navadevatha, Panchaparameshti, Nantheeswara Deepam, Mahameru, Yakshas, and Yakshis arranged on a tiered platform.
• Mandapam Structure:
  • The Arthamandapam features Shri Brahmadevar on the south side and Shri Kooshmandini on the north side, with regular pooja idols seated on the central platform.
  • In front of the Arthamandapam, there is a Mahamandapam with two openings on the south and north of the corridor.
  • A small Mugamandapam is constructed and secured with iron grill doors.
