Introduction
Pattamangalam Kashiviswanath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Pattamangalam village, Kilvelur taluk, Nagapattinam district, Tamil Nadu. This Pattamangalam is located on the Vellore – Devoor Road, 2 km south of Kivelur. Here the Primary deity is called as Kasi Vishwanathar and Mother is called as Vishalakshi. This Temple is a small temple towards the east; it cannot be called a grand temple, and was built a few hundred years ago. Lord Vishwanath has a sanctum to the east, Vishalatsi to the south; Nandi has a hall in front of the Lord, Dakshan Murthy to the south, and Durga to the north side. There is a Vinayagar sanctum in Prakaram named after Kariya siddhivinayakar. He is on a pillar standing directly behind the sanctum sanctorum. In the north is the Murugan shrine with Navagrahas in a separate hall.
